What does GRAMS Construction do?

GRAMS Construction, LLC is a principal-led commercial general contractor headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. We design, supply, and erect metal building systems (welded red-iron and pre-engineered); self-perform concrete, sitework, and commercial paving; and deliver commercial interior finish-outs and tenant improvements — plus full general contracting, preconstruction, and estimating.

Where does GRAMS Construction work?

We're headquartered in San Antonio with active work across Austin, Houston, New Braunfels, the Texas Hill Country, and West Texas. For the right project, we travel statewide.

Does GRAMS work as a subcontractor?

Yes. GRAMS bids as a subcontractor on structural steel, concrete, paving, and interior-finish packages, and is active on BuildingConnected and PlanHub. Send ITBs directly to info@gramsconstruction.com.

How do I add GRAMS to my bid list?

Email invitations to bid to info@gramsconstruction.com, or invite GRAMS Construction through BuildingConnected or PlanHub. We respond to ITBs for structural steel, concrete and sitework, paving, metal buildings, and commercial interior packages across Texas.

Does GRAMS offer free estimates?

Yes. Every estimate is free and built from a full quantity takeoff with market-researched unit pricing — a qualified lump sum with clear inclusions, exclusions, and alternates. Call (210) 347-3828 or email your plans.

Is GRAMS licensed and insured?

Yes. GRAMS Construction, LLC is licensed and insured, and is a BBB Accredited business. Insurance certificates and license documentation are available on request.

Who leads GRAMS Construction?

Brothers Michael Ramirez (Managing Partner, Business Development) and Rudy Ramirez (Partner, Construction Manager). Both grew up in the concrete trade and worked heavy industrial construction across the Texas Gulf Coast before founding GRAMS.

What types of buildings does GRAMS construct?

Commercial, industrial, and agricultural structures: pre-engineered and welded red-iron metal buildings, warehouses, equipment yards, office finish-outs, tenant improvements, fitness and amenity spaces, and site concrete and paving packages.

Can GRAMS help before plans are drawn?

Yes. Our preconstruction services cover concept development, specifications, budgeting, and estimating — so you can establish scope and cost before spending money on full design.

Can GRAMS finish a project another contractor left incomplete?

Yes. We're regularly brought in to complete jobs other contractors left unfinished — managing inspection matrices, punch lists, lien waivers, and warranty packages through certificate of occupancy.

How does GRAMS bill and document its work?

AIA-standard contracts with G702/G703 progress billing against a transparent schedule of values — plus daily logs, photo records, RFI tracking, and proactive change-order management.
